Still cooling our heels (literally) here in Vero.
Again a day taken up mostly with work work – not cruising work. Still waiting on some shipments to arrive.
I did take time to go to a Chinese Restaurant for lunch. I split to come back to the boat but Karen went on a bus transfer to find the K-mart – looking for yarns. Evidently the hunting is good because she has been gone all afternoon.
The waiting is becoming difficult now because Chris has called for gentle crossing conditions this Saturday. Several boats including our raft up neighbors left today to stage for a crossing this weekend. We can still make it if we leave on Friday.
Not much else to report except it has been a long pants, sweatshirt, and jacket day. The temps were a high of 62 and with the 15+ kt north wind I suspect the wind-chill is in the 50s!!! Don’t worry – should be back above 70 degrees tomorrow.
