Ahhhh Sweet Dreams!

Ahhh now you know why we have really delayed our departure – a memory foam topper for the bed!! The picture is of the topper fresh from the packaging and expanding to its full thickness -- 3". Gosh -- today marks 2 full weeks here at Vero..

Both of us have experienced morning back aches on this bed. I actually attribute it to the long hours spent in bed. When at home I usually sleep about 7 hours. Here with it getting dark so early, no TV, and the anxiety of travel along the ICW (although not lately since at Vero) I spend about 9+ hours in bed and I’m still getting up at 6:15am. Hopefully this topper will cure the ache..

For me today was another full day of work work – nearly done. Karen had appointments to keep and the mattress topper was the last shipment we were waiting on. We are now free to go --- except Vic and Gigi arrive tomorrow and we have to remain for that and the wind is really supposed to come up on Sunday.

Thus we will pass on the latest weather window to the Bahamas which began today and ends Saturday night, stay till Monday, and leave either then or Tuesday and head south to stage for trip across the gulf stream.

I am ready!! Oh yeah there are several boats from New Bern here now. Several will use the Saturday wx window to go to the Bahamas but a get together at a local watering hole is planned for tomorrow afternoon. I’ll get pictures.
